The Zone Golf Academy (ZGA) offers PGA Tour-Level or Master instruction at affordable prices. The ZGA offers golf instruction dealing with the golf swing / stroke techniques, the mental game, and golf conditioning. The Academy serves the Palm Springs-to-La Quinta area. But our mobile service can actually bring the performance lab to you.

Our certified “hybrid” instructors address your needs in one or all three the mind-body-technique areas. The ZGA is considered one of the best because of the performance improvement methodology, high-tech equipment, libraries, biofeedback devices, and network of PGA Tour level instructors.

The teaching system was designed and developed by a rocket scientist, a systems analyst, and a lifetime mentor /coach as well as touring Pros, and PGA instructors / trainers.We help the avid golfer as well as the casual golfer who wants to improve his /her scores and enjoyment.

The ZGA is owned and operated by Lee Woodard, who is affiliated with the PGA of America. In addition, he has been the Golf Performance Coach for the “2012 Junior College State Champions” College of the Desert men’s golf team and has also been the Performance Coach at the El Camino College men’s golf team for a few years.

With Lee’s background of being a ‘rocket scientist’ and systems analyst, the ZGA emphasizes the ‘high tech’ analysis tools but they are blended with a collection of common ‘low tech’ or old school tools.  The high tech tools include the K-Vest 3D motion analysis system, an Accusport launch monitor, SAM Puttlab system, a rhythm/tempo system, and more.
